Will Americans and our employers soon be paying 3X the price that China pays for energy as Obama forces us to use expensive wind, corn, and solar while China produces scores of products to send to the US with cheap oil, coal, gas, and nuclear power?
Will we soon be forced to beg both OPEC and [...]

I live in Green Lake Country, in WI and the county is on this kick to cut all trees down in the right away (no real good reason, just less of a chance of them being sued if someone hits a tree). Being the trees are on our property (land owners), does the county have [...]

I read an article today that attributed the drop in oil prices to the (soon to be? already happening?) recession. I’ve always read that recessions lead to inflation due to lowered consumer confidence. Why are oil prices moving down and not up? Will the consumer price for gas go up despite this? If so, doesn’t [...]

A few years ago, there was an auction held to sell a piece of property above theirs – at this auction, an announcement was made stating that this piece of property was landlocked and had no legal means [...]

Every day million litres of petrol and diesel are consumed by the people. One day the petroleum under the ground might be run out. Then there will be no more petrol and diesel supply.
Solar energy still not popular to us because the power of solar energy is far behind that of petrol or diesel.

It doesn’t seem like trading oil futures should have much affect on the actual price of oil that changes hands. Thats still governed by supply and demand, right? If speculators drove the price above what the consumer was willing to pay then the demand would drop, prices would follow, and the speculators would [...]

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar put the plan on hold Tuesday while his agency conducts a 180-day review. [...]

I don’t think gas is all that expensive. It’s just a price we pay attention to and it fluctuates more than other expenses. But it really bothers me that companies like Exxon make greater profits when they have to pay more for oil.

I’ve just switched my vehicle over to a 10 w 30 full synthetic motor oil. I have noticed that it is thinner than the regular petroleum based 10 w 30.
Is there an online conversion chart that shows the thickness of the synthetic oil compared to the regular oil (specifically for Mobil 1 Full Synthetic)?
For [...]

twentieth century, can be attributed to expanded oil pumping, thus little by little depleting this natural lubricant that would normally allow the tectonic plates to slide smoothly accross each other without friction-generating tremblors? Remember mass-produced automobiles and other petroleum-using machinery widely became of eventual global-use during the twentieth century.
