I’m a huge animal activist and want to know how it will effect the wildlife that lives there. I just know of oil spills and tearing up their homes. I don’t want a lecture about how we need the oil because of high gas prices. In my opinion, this won’t solve high gas prices forever.

Why is the price of oil going up? The storm isn’t a hurricane and the Gulf had 2 cat 5 storms with no damage?

The amount of oil is limited coming from that region so why the increase? To me this is a sign of plain ripping the consumers off. If the rigs out there were able to withstand the two category 5 hurricanes why all of this fuss?

So oil has dropped almost 25% since its high 3 weeks ago. Yet gas prices where I live have only dropped 3% (seriously), and with the long weekend coming up they’ll probably skyrocket. Why aren’t we seeing cheaper prices at the pump with oil sliding?
