Are you still happy that no oil drilling will happen in ANWR?

Gas will soon be a gallon. Oh, and don’t tell me that there is not enough oil to help. Every bit would help and ANWR is projected to have lots and lots of oil. So, are you still happy that we are not drilling in ANWR?
Also before you tell me how bad it would be for the enviroment, google ANWR and look at the picture of where it is,not the fake liberal media pictures either, but the real ones.

Not to mention the Bakken Formation partly in Montana and South Dakota, and the Marcellas Shale reserve in Pennsylvania.

There is no excuse why this nation is not right now refining crude oil at full capacity from both of these sites.

The EPA, the department of the Interior, and the environmentalist whackos are going to suffer a backlash in the very near future.

    Watch and see.

I agree there needs to be some oil extraction.

Though they better be sure they don’t wreck the environment!

yes i am thx 4 asking ..hagd

  6. Jack Says:

It’s time to drill domestically. The needs of the many outweight the needs of a few polar bears.

  7. Reverse_Thread_Wing_Nut Says:

I’m at a complete loss as to motivates those in power to not drill for oil where ever it may be found.

  8. Sargonarhes Says:

No I am not happy about it, and there is also a huge oil reserve under the Rocky Mountains and
one under Montana and North Dakota they’re not tapping.

But the environmentalists will allow it once they go for a while with no food on their table. The cities can’t be fed without trucks to haul food into the cities.

  9. Rupert's Robot's Says:

Hemp is free, plentiful and it isn’t food, why not try something other than oil? It IS possible.

  10. Nuts for Liberty Says:

Monopolies tend to distort the whole supply and demand theory.

Simply because America consumes the most oil in the world by far, the demand here is significant. Even if we had our own domestic drilling sites it’s not going to lower our gas prices.

They WILL charge the same, if not more! Oil is a monopoly they can charge whatever they want and we HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO PAY FOR IT? Do you not understand that?

Even if all of our oil WAS domestic it would still be expensive. Second thing is that it will take at least a decade to get a oil rig operational. So in 10 years, by 2021 we will still be consuming oil while the rest of the world is developing alternate energies for the future?

Oil isn’t going to last forever. Wouldn’t investing into future energies be the responsible thing to do? Or are we going to wait until we’ve sucked out the last drop, and descend into absolute chaos? Because if the world suddenly ran out of oil there would be chaos.

i dont give a shit if gas is 10 dollars a gallon im still gonna fucking buy it so F U

ill pay whatever price is on the fucking thing

if u dont like go take the bus or some shit like a little puss-y

  12. 63vette Says:

    No.

I am also not happy that we are not allowing drilling in the Gulf.
In the area of the Gulf claimed by Mexico and others, drilling has not stopped. So why are they still depleting the resource under the Gulf and we are not allowed to use it.

  13. Holthar Bluetooth Says:

I’ll be happy if they start drilling down in the Gulf of Mexico soon. Seriously, there is no shortage of oil and an over supply of gas, the price should be going down not up. Greedy NYC specualtors still doing their evil for millions while we get screwed.

  14. Chuck Says:

I hope America wakes up and declares the drilling. Just a threat will be enough to shape up the cartel.

xsataic. And I’m REALLY happy unemployment is still around 9%.

  16. common sense Says:

YES. I AM VERY HAPPY. This is natural untouched landscape. Something we dont have much of anymore. I dont care what the place actually looks like it can be a patch of dandelions i dont care its still nature. And whats the minescule 5 billion barrels in that area? Heres an idea. Because convensional oil is projected to run out in 39 years how bout we keep it as a safety net as we deploy alternatives. Because our strategic reserves will only last us 34 days. Then pure chaos will erupt. Hybrids will lower cost of oil by decrasing demand more than this tiny bit anyway. Its time we start thinking about the FUTURE. not just tomorrow..but 50 years. What will our kids do when oil runs out? Because it WILL run out in THEIR lifetimes. Do research. And not biased studies. Most countries dont even know how much they have left. But drill baby drill well deal with the crises when it comes. Stupidity.
