Career Advice….?
My husband is doing a little soul searching. He has lots of experience managing a restaurant – that is what he has done for the past 10 years….however, he is pretty unhappy with the career path he has chosen. He has a college degree in Advertising, but does not necessarily want to go into that field. Restaurant Management is all the experience on his resume…My question is – what are some careers that require ANY degree to get started – and will pay well, even if not at first…He has heard good things about a ‘Landman’ but I have no clue what that is. Anyone know anything about this career? Or maybe some advice on something he could pursue? He is open to anything…has taken career placement tests…and they all say the same thing..you would be a great Restaurant Manager! ha! Thanks for the help!

I am in the same boat as your husband. I many multiple years of retail sales but don’t want to do retail any more.
He needs to realize that his management, people and organizing skills are completely transferable. Look at the library and online line about careers that require the same types of knowledge.
