So, why is the price of gas not skyrocketing? Could it be that it is because there is an election coming up?

Also, in, say, a Very Large Crude Carrier, approximately how much will the vessel weigh with and without fuel and how much will the cargo weigh? I’m more interested in the approximate percentages of the total rather than absolute weights, unless you can supply typical weights for each.

We started paying more for electricity, gas and all food stuffs because of the price of fuel. Is it reasonable to expect these prices to come back down, now that gas is coming down?

then market prices? right now a barrel of crude oil is about 89.00 on the market, could a oil co. sell oil that was drilled on U.S. soil too local refineries in the U.S. for say 65.00 a barrel, they would still make money, right?

I need to know what it should look like and how to tell if there is a problem with it. We have an oil well and it started pumping a frothy looking oil.

Will the inflated price of oil be the genesis for new technologies that will free us from foreign oil? Will it cause more people to us mass transit, thereby cutting down on carbon emissions? or is it all just a crock and we are all pretty much screwed?

Is contango when farther out crude futures are lower than the front month?

Getting to be quite clear that there was manipulation to had driven up the price so high. Demand didn’t go up so much to drive proces so high, demand hasn’t dropped so much to drop the proces so quickly. This a failure of the "free market" to run freely over people and businesses?
