Do you think the government should regulate oil prices like they do with natural gas and electricity?

This would prevent the severe price gouging that we have undergone with oil. Imagine if natural gas prices rose this much in winter! People would freeze to death.
OPEC says oil should only cost -, not over 0 a barrel. Why doesn’t congress step in and regulate the price? Are they getting too many kickbacks?
Goby, I guess you are right. People should just adapt to the higher gas prices. They can downsize their car, get a scooter or motorcycle, ride public transit, walk, move closer to work, etc.

There are more mysteries between Heaven and Earth than you can imagine, dear sir. Probably more Americans making money with oil prices than the Arabs.

Our government would have already done it long time ago if it is feasible.

Something has to be done but I sure don’t claim to have the right answer as to what that is. One thing I think is that we are going to have to just drill here in the US and stop letting the "Tree Huggers" dictate to the world what shall be.
