-She walked alone in the dark, the goddess of the night.-

Ch. 1-The Willow Found
There was a harsh rapping on the carved wooden door of the Carmitru Castle, a frail young maid opened it to gaze into the worried eyes of two men.
“Is she here?” asked the younger of the two ,“Is my fiancé Willow here?”
“So that is her name,” murmured the maid, then smiled “Yes she is here, but she’s out cold. Follow me.” She turned and led the way up the grand staircase, it’s marvelous iron railing gleaming in the early moonlight. She walked briskly and led the two gentlemen into a guestroom, where another man stood gazing across the land from the large draped window. He turned at the newcomers, he was very tall and well built, his long black hair was pulled back, his eyes where a stony grey. ” Ah, I see you’re the one making all that ruckus in the village about your fiancé,” his eyes flickered to the large bad, with drapes of sheer white silk closed so that only the outline of a woman can be seen in the dim light.
“Willow!” cried the younger of the two and leaped towards the sleeping figure. Gently, as though not to shatter the curtain of silk, he pushed the curtain aside. He could clearly see her face now. Her beautiful cream complexion was visible in the dim light, but the rosiness of her full cheeks was missing. Her waist length hair spread across the down pillow, its dark waves gently falling around her. But it revealed a horrible gash across her forehead, deep and still scarlet as fresh blood was visible. The man by the window gazed at the girls face and spoke,” Gini, could you heat some more water and bring some bandages, I think now is a good time to dress her wounds.”
The maid curtseyed and left the room, leaving the older of the two men standing by the door. “And who are you my dear sir?” asked the man by the window. The man stepped forward, in the moonlight that came from the windows we can see him clearly now. He wore a back cloak, a silver crucifix clutched in his hands, a rosary around his neck.
“I am the priest of the village church, Reverend Caius, I’ve come along with Mister Potcorvescu to protect him from those fiends of the night.”
“Oh, you mean the vampires?” smiled the man, “Allow me to introduce myself, I am Stefan Carmitru, land owner of this mountain and castle.”
“I’ve heard of you, the Carmitru family has lived here for about a century, you are the final heir to the property I presume?”
“Yes, I live here alone. My sister has chosen to leave this place, she has grown tired of living here. Ah, Gabrielle must be roaming the streets of Paris right now, enjoying herself I hope,” Stephan smiled. Gini entered the room carrying a small basin of steaming water; in her hand were coiled strands of linen bandages. She placed the basin on the small table beside the bed and Mr. Potcorvescu grabbed a dry towel from the table, slowly soaked it in the water and cleaned his fiancé’s wound with a touch so gentle and carrying that it made Stefan sigh.
“She was lucky I found her in the woods, Mr. Potcirvescu..”
“Augustine,” interrupted the young man, “Call me Augustine.”
“Well Augustine, she was lucky I found her. I was riding my horse and I saw her on the ground, her head bashed into a rock. Poor girl was probably running and she tripped. At least the vampires didn’t get to her.”
“Sir, I owe you my greatest gratitude for saving her. I am in your debt.”
“It was nothing, “grinned Stephan,” I would help anyone who is injured on my land. If one of those savages had laid a hand on her, I would have tracked it until I could drag it into broad daylight where it would bur in agony till only its ashes where left.”
“You must be an experienced vampire hunter,” inquired Reverend Caius .
“Yes, it is quite an interesting hobby of mine. These beasts that roam my land have learned to fear me; I’ve killed about six of them, mercilessly.”
“I’ve heard rumors about that,” spoke Stephan ,” Your supposed to be one of the best out there, no one else is able to catch a single one of those vile creatures.” He dropped the cloth into the basin, took the bandages from Gini’s hand and carefully dressed Willows head. He sighed, “She’s not in any condition to travel back to the village.”
“If you allow it, Augustine, I can keep her here until she awakes, then I will send for you and you both can be together.”
The clock in the hall struck eleven, and the two men looked at each other. “We must go,” said the Reverend, “The creatures become more active with every passing hour.”
“Yes,” murmured Augustine, and he kissed his fiancés hand, pulled the blankets closer to her and slowly followed Gini out.
The door closed shut from downstairs, Stefan heard it clearly with is sharp ears and Gini returned into the room. “You’re not going to give her up are you?”
“Oh, my dear, how ever did you know?” grinned Stephan, his teeth glinting in the moonlight.
Gini laughed, “I saw the way you looked at her before they
–came, you want her, you know that wound to the head had nearly killed her. You know that she is barely alive at the moment. You will do that to her.”
Stephens face turned cold, “Of course I will, I cannot go any longer without her blood, it is killing me to smell it from here but have the decency to hold back.”
“What will you do with the boy?”
His face turned from cold to devilish, ”I’ll let those savages take care of him, she belongs to me now.”
Gini giggled softly, “whatever you say master”, she stepped away from the bed and walked out of the room.
Now Stephan walked towards the bed, Willows face glowed softly in the moonlight, her skin, her scent was so tempting. The cold blood that pumped through Stephens body raged, his mouth opened to reveal two fangs that where hidden seconds before. Slowly he sank them into her neck; a moan escaped her lips, first of pain, then of pleasure as he drank her blood till she was nearly empty.

it got cut off.^^

    HOLY CRAP!!!

I love it!!! Is it finished? Where can I read more?! It’s really good, I was instantly hooked. I’ve been reading a whole lot of stories in this section of Yahoo Answers and most of them I feel compelled to critique…not yours though. I just wanted to read some more. Not a single part of it bored me or made me sigh.

Have you put it up on any websites yet? If you have, please give me a link!
