Gas prices, crude oil prices, record profits for oil companies, what gives?
I was wondering what people think about crude oil futures reaching an all time high of 9 plus? This is causing gas prices to be on the brink of an all time US high. Meanwhile, the big oil companies are turning in record profits. Isn’t it about time something should be done.

This is why you shouldn’t elect a president with deep ties to the oil industry.

Inventory pricing means as soon as the cost of your raw material goes up, you raise prices on the finished product even tho it did not cost you that much. Otherwise you would not have the funds to buy the more expensive raw material.
I don’t know how they are calculating " profit". Their EARNING may be at record levels, what about their expenses? Not defending anyone, just do not know how biased the reporting is.
