how can i find out about mineral rights on my property in texas? who might own them?

been trying to find out who owns the mineral rights. a drilling company has surveyed a proposed drilling site for natural gas five feet from my property line. already been to railroad commission web site, not much help, and not wanting to get legal help at this time.
