Since February 2010, what changes have been made to the price of oil, and why has this happened?

    The above data reflects crude prices for the first week in each of the months detailed above. A you can see the increase per bbl can be easily found in the last three months of 2010 and continuing into 2011. With regard to your question as to why…. well there are a number of factors including, but not limited to: Mideast instability (Egypt recently), changes in production schedules, supply and demand, regulation and who knows what else. Oil (can’t live without it – can’t afford to buy it)is a necessary commodity to the world economy and unfortunately has a strong hold on people, governments and countries around the world.
