How much is a typical natural gas furnace replacement for a 2 bedroom condo, installed?

No AC, just replacing a 25 year old furnace. Parts and labor done by a licensed contractor. Condo is 2 story 1125 total square feet. This is in the SF Bay Area of California.

I have a quote to install a RUUD furnace http://www.ruud.com/product.aspx?id=9A9E2465-C90A-4815-B0A4-57FAA7CB9CD2 for a total of ,650. Includes disposal of existing furnace.

Basically, is this a fair price. I believe it to be, but would like some re-assurance before I pull the trigger.

Go for it, around here you’d expect to pay at least $2,000.00 +

Yes, I dont think that is a bad price at all, and ruud isnt a bad furnace either. I was installing furnaces 10 years ago and 1700 was about a base price.

That’s a great price !! Mine cost $2750 and it was a bargain.
