is there a problem with mixing chlorine bleach with petroleum based grease?

I sell lubricants to water and wastewater treatment plants and have heard of a potential problem mixing chlorine bleach and grease, but no one can tell me why it is a problem or what the problem is?

They will react with eah other and change composition. The changed mix depends on the lubricant and the exact conditions, but can include dangerous things such as hydrogen gas, trichloroamine gases, chlorine gas, and cancer causing chemicals. The mix can also get very hot and in extreme cases may catch fire.
