Leasing land at mobile park, it is covered w/poison oak. I am suppose to maintain, shouldn't it be safe 1st?

I am buying a mfg home and leasing a spot in mfg home park. The back corner of lot is covered w/ poison oak at the fence line, there is so much it is bushes and trees. It is on the apt. property on other side of fence and our property. Wouldn’t the owners of park and apt be liable to remove, it is making it uninhabitable for me to go outside my home. Last year I missed 3 1/2 wks work and had to get 4 shots. I have already had it twice this year and right now I am on way to go get another shot. What do I do?

  1. tro Says:

what are the terms of your lease for the land?
is this an association? do they have maintenance charges in your monthly fees or what?
you need to examine your lease carefully and address the problem to the association
considering the health problems you have it would probably be cheaper for you to have someone come and remove all the problem plants
I don’t believe the trees are poisonous, only the vegetation that grows close to the ground
