If China's oil industry is anything like the U.S. oil industry, China doesn't give a flying f**k what the Kenyan government or people might want, and any Kenyan connections Obama might have would be useless as a bargaining tool. Now if our next President, whoever it might be, would put all the federal oil subsidies toward research, development and implementation of green energy alternatives (not ethanol, btw) we might be on our way to meeting the worlds energy needs, but since such a move would almost certainly result in the assassination of the President, I won't hold my breath. I don’t see how. But,we have no viable alternatives or the infrastructure to support them and won't for 20 years. So they force us onto the Government BUS to get to work,the store or anywhere else. Forget hunting or fishing,the bus won't go there,which will make the Treehuggers and Animal Rights people happy.
