I once paid over 0 to take one of these 40-hour courses, lured by a promise on the school’s website of "guaranteed job interviews" after completion of the course.
I eventually learned that it is illegal for bartending schools to make this promise and when I threatened to throw the book at the school’s manager, [...]

What do they think their computers are made out of?
How do they think their food was planted, fertilized, harvested, & brought to the store?
Do they ever use transportation?
Why do so many YA Liberals act so naive about the world they dont understand?

It also includes offshore oil drilling, natural gas pipelines, ports & harbors, cruise ships, oil tankers, imports, exports, land development along water resorces, military exercises & testing and population growth along water sources, aquaculture etc. If you look at the entire picture that is a lot of power and control as well as money.

It just seems ridiculous that gas prices are up so much form over a year ago, for that matter since 9/11. Our oil reserves are well above what they were then & production has increased significantly. With the options traders on wall street, and the average investor looking to invest in their future, [...]

Only serious answers.
Aren’t gas prices controlled, primarily, by future’s projections and gas speculation? Therefore, every hurricane season we would see even more drastic spikes in price and dips in production?
Why has [...]

What? There is land where they can already drill without disrupting the environment off the coast of Florida or ANWAR? What the? There are 68 million acres of untapped land with oil and gas reserves that’s not being used? Surely Republicans and John McCain wouldn’t be promoting new drilling just for political reasons, would they? [...]

As the whole world knows; that the previous crude oil price hike is because of investors buying the commodity due to weakening US structure & Bush policies (invading Iraq & meddling with Iran). At one point, it rose to 5 per barrel. Now, the bubble bursts and the current price is below per barrel. [...]
