Why our cars/boats won’t run on ethanol?
I know the sources of petroleum and ethanol.
Say I have 1 gallon of ethanol, can I just pour them into my car, and expect my car to run? If not, why? Since that oil is depleting fast, shouldn’t we concern about "what’s" next?

Most of current machine need petroleum for energy resource but the petroleum deposit currently becoming smaller from day to day. Many new alternative energy is prepared to replace it such as ethanol, hydrogen, etc. But to replace or modify current machines to fit with those new energy will cost much.

I keep watching the price of oil and it’s going up, even though the demand for gas is going down. People are not driving as much and they added ethanol to cut down our dependence on foreign oil. What is going on?
