I wonder about this as they are in the business of making profits. Yes, it will provide more oil/gas, BUT they’ve got to build more refineries, etc., and they are going to charge someone for that expense (us) and then make a profit off the gasoline they sell. It isn’t government owned, like [...]

Democrats like to attack evil American oil companies and block them from drilling the energy deposits off our coasts. It doesn’t seem to bother Democrats that China and Cuba are finalizing plans to drill for oil in these same areas 50 miles from Key West.
Pelosi in her weekly press conference called drilling a "Republican hoax."
The [...]

In early May, the average price $ per gallon in the U.S. was under per gallon. Right now, with oil back at that previous level, gasoline is still hovering around per gallon. Tell me that Exxon Mobile is not gouging us.
Go Broncos…Theoretically, yes that is the way it is SUPPOSED to happen but [...]

Can someone please tell me the difference or correlation between crude oil, fossil fuels, and [...]

Say you have a million barrels of crude oil. You could use it to make x gallons of diesel, or y gallons of gasoline. I would imagine that x is less than y, since diesel is more energy-dense than gasoline. But can anyone give any specific figures, or at least tell me [...]

The price of oil dropped 20 dollars a barrel or 50 cents a gallon since a barrel has 42 gallons so why has gasoline only dropped 10 cents a gallon.

Since natural gas is cleaner burning than gasoline and cheaper than gasoline (A person at a natural gas company told me once that the cost of natural gas is about 1/2 the cost of gasoline). My theories are 1. Oil companies don’t like it because they make more money from oil. 2. [...]

When Palin-ites say that she "took on" big oil, do they mean that she took big oil on as a PARTNER?
Clearly a staunch supporter of oil and gas drilling, she bought off the Alaskan electorate for 00 each and now she’s GIVING TransCanada half a billion dollar$ to build that pipeline she’s crowing about.
Wow, with [...]

The way NAFTA is set up,
the highest bid buys the oil
no matter what country
McCain likes the free trade
the way it is, and doesn’t want
any changes to it
So if the Saudis out-bid Exxon/Mobile,
we will still pay roughly the same high
prices for gasoline
only it will be the Saudis selling us
what is supposed to be our own oil
