I’m a college student and I’m moving into my first apartment with some friends of mine. WIth the way natural gas prices are going, being energy efficent at home is of the utmost importance. Natural gas prices have risen recently due to the fact they have built several natural gas powered electric plants. I think he is on to a good idea. What do you think?
the whole point of Pickens plan is to use wind to replace natural gas electric plants.
With natural gas prices rocketing sky high – what are you doing to keep your heating bills at a minimal? Any unique ideas to heat up your place without giving up your arm this coming winter?
Currently we have an air-forced duct system in place. I really hate it, the heat does not [...]
I have thought this from day one!! The gasoline and record high natural gas prices and oil prices I think is what really drove the world wide economy over the edge. Money had to spent on energy and not other things!
i am trying to find out what the current price of engine fuel is in Bangladesh at the moment. I know that their natural gas prices have climbed but need to know about gasoline. Thanks
Gas was about .25 per gallon when Bush took the Presidentail reins in his first term.
Last week, Big Oil’s first-quarter profit reports came rolling in with more bad news for consumers. On April 26, Exxon/Mobil reported that even though it produced less product than last year, it earned profits of 10 percent on unusually high [...]
Do you remember the commercials where T Boone Pickens says we should use natural gas in cars and use wind to make electricity?
Chesapeake Energy bought all kinds of leases but will let them go unexplored because natural gas prices have fallen so much.
We can’t use natural gas if they don’t drill for it. Right?

"A dramatic increase in drilling, spurred by record-breaking oil and natural gas prices. The number of workers in oil and gas jobs shot up from 290,000 in 2002 to 428,000 in 2007. In July 2002, 740 land-based oil and gas rigs were operating in the United States; today, [...]
Postage is rising again today, and each day the gasoline price tag has changed. Not to mention almost all food products have risen in prices or are about to. Truckers are protesting, no one is able to make a living out there. I read (a couple days ago) how people are giving up their pets [...]
with the continuing rise in natural gas prices, I am seriously considering ripping out my gas furnace which is about 15 years old and not a high efficiency furnace, and replacing it with an electric unit. I am in a 92 model year mobile home. My utility bill for gas currently runs around 150 month [...]

Natural gas prices are up because supply is down. Supply declines at this time of year because the fuel is used as a heating fuel.
Supply is still higher than the 5-year average – because it was so high in Fall, causing prices to then be quite low. [...]
Will Natural Gas prices start trending up? Please state your opinion and why. Thanks!
I stumbled on these two links yesterday while I was browsing Yahoo answers.
Please read at least the second one, its kind of a summary of the first, these explian the true reason oil and natural gas prices are so high. The first link was put out by the US Senate but ignored, by congress and [...]
So I live in Northern Illinois. The current cost per therm for natural gas is about {content}.45. In 2008 it average about {content}.95. We just locked in for the next five years at {content}.79. Does this seem worth it? I don’t know much about the fluctuation of natural gas prices. [...]
Since I think natural gas is harder to transport across oceans I’m guessing most natural gas consumed in the US is produced nearby in the US, Alaska, and Canada. If the growing economies of China and India are pushing up world wide oil prices, it seems less plausible that this same effect could effect [...]
This would prevent the severe price gouging that we have undergone with oil. Imagine if natural gas prices rose this much in winter! People would freeze to death.
OPEC says oil should only cost -, not over 0 a barrel. Why doesn’t congress step in and regulate the price? Are they getting [...]
Right now I am paying .35 per CCF If I were to sign a contract with IGS Energy I would pay .499 CCFthe first year, decreasing to .47 the second year, and 1.45 per CCFthe third year.
Is it smart to lock in a price for natural gas that is .15 cents MORE then what [...]
