During the election, President-Elect Obama said he supported Oil/Gas exploration (including offshore drilling) under pressure from polling that showed 70% of Americans believed that oil/gas exploration was an important component in addressing our energy needs and foreign dependence on oil. I see on Yahoo Obama plans to use his executive powers to make an immediate impact when he takes office, perhaps reversing Bush administration policies on stem cell research and domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.
Can anyone give a heads up on what to expect? Less drilling/more drilling?
