The price of gas going up?
Why is it that when we have natural disasters like hurricanes that gas prices start going up? I’m in Dallas and gas is expected to go up to , all because people are coming here from down south? Why?

Because its a BIG SCAM!!!! They know everyone will be leaving that is in the path of the Storm so why not jack up the prices since you know everyone is going to be filling up. I live in Maryland and the price went up 75cents in a little over a day..

You in a way answered your own question. Is because the hurricane was headed right for the refineries in your state.

The answer is simple, none of the environmentalist wackos want any refineries built in their backyard or anywhere for that matter so they are all old and on the gulf coast. Until these commie enviros get off the high horse and build some more refineries somewhere else it will be that way. Also when the rest of nation gets tired of this the feds will do what they need to do to shore up coastal erosion on the gulf coast. Some say Katrina fatigue and some say Louisana is crooked but know what when us or texas go down evryone knows it. Another angle is if you want to cripple this nation then bomb the coast then the rest of the nation will stop moving. WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!
