We purchased ten acres of land with one well , that was to be shared with two neighbors,?
We received a grant did giving us one third of the well rights,on March of 2007. In September 2007 the original owner of the property issued a second grant deed, giving my one third of the well to one of the other neighbor. What documents do I need to correct the second grant deed that was issued by first owner. We live in California. The original owner is carrying the note.

Go to your title company and ask them these questions, or seek out a real estate attorney to see if everything is up and up. Sharing a well, well, isn’t the best senario but if you have great neighbors it might not be too bad.
