What all happens to oil before it gets to our gas tanks?

I want to know how Oil moves from the drill to the refineries, through pipelines and finally to the gas pump it doesn’t need to be too specific, but I’m trying to figure out what all goes into getting gas for your car and how far it has to travel and how many people are involved for the gas we all unfortunately buy.
