What are my rights if i own a garage but not the land in front?
I thought the land in front of my garage was owned by the council but it’s actually owned by a neighbour. It says in the deeds i have to pay 1/18th of the upkeep of the land in front and a water supply i didn’t know existed. I have owned the garage for 8 years and the owner has now said he wants paying for 8 years worth of upkeep. Should he have not billed me monthly or yearly. Is he entitled to this money?

Well, first he has to be able to prove the amount…which will be hard…second, there is a statute of limitations on such things…he can only go back so many years…
But yes…he is entitled to the money going forward, and some of the back money as well.
