If you run to the store to buy milk, and they only have 12 gallons on hand, they could get what ever price they ask for it. Same with oil, these speculators set the price, along with OPEC and the world has to pay it. China is sucking up oil like a sponge. Why do you think they are sucking up to the Russians??? That's right, OIL. Russia has a large supply in the East and they know the Chinese will pay dearly for it. The world wide demand is up and they will sell oil at what ever they want to sell it at.
