What is Obama’s latest stance on domestic oil and gas drilling.?

I see on Yahoo Obama plans to use his executive powers to make an immediate impact when he takes office, perhaps reversing Bush administration policies on stem cell research and domestic drilling for oil and natural gas.

Can anyone give a heads up on what to expect? Less drilling/more drilling?

We need oil and gas there is no changing that. If we don’t drill then we are going to pay more money for oil for our houses and cars. Every one keeps yelling about gas prices. With Obama in office then we will be paying a lot more then what we have been. Obama is not changing this country for the better he is changing it for the worse. Obama should not be president.

Obama said he would move to ban domestic drilling totally by the end of 2009.

Americans will move to Solar/Wind/Geothermal energy.

    God bless President Obama!!

I am afraid the new president is going repeal any expansion of drilling. The coal industry will be likewise affected. The alternative energy dream is nutty. It will take decades to install a meaningful solar, wind energy complex. Do you know any solar panel installers?

He only said use it or lose it.

He has already said and demonstrated that he wants no drilling and no coal mining in the USA. Get ready folks we are going to be turned in to a third world country.
