What is the procedure as far as borrowing the LAND people have their fourth of july fireworks stands on?

I dont want a fireworks stand I am just curious if the people actually find out who the property owners are, before they put it up? Many times the stands are on vacant land… Im sure they have to get permission and possibly even a permit right?

The reason I’m asking is because my younger brother wants to sell some "Flashing Fireworks" IE:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=220240050607

that he purchased on Ebay. If were to help this little ‘entreprenuer’ by setting up a simple stand on a busy corner, do we have to get permission?

What if we dont actually have a table, and just sell them off our boddies, as we’re walking around?

Thanks, for your help in advance, just remember I’m am self employed and I am just trying to help a little guy make a buck.

    —some states regulate the sales
    of "pyrotechniques."
you need to ask your fire department.

IF not, just sell. If you are looking like a biz, the city will want a biz license.

it all depends on how much and how
    often you wanna sell.

I did it when I was a kid, we imported
    m80s from Oregon.
