vaselline is a lubricant…ur skin is naturally oily…dont use it on ur face n other sensitive skin..excess oil can cause pimples…n acne….u can use it on cracked heel..on elbows to smoothen the skin..

Vaeline is great for your lips. Apply it on your lips before you go to bed and when you wake up they will be extremely soft.

Good for dry skin, rough places on skin (feet, elbows). Some people put it on their face at night at moisturizing cream. Put on scar tissue after biopsies, cuts so it doesn’t stick to guaze.

for cuts, it never dries so it keeps moisture to injurys
for lips, it doesn’t dry out so it keeps them moist
also it removes eye make-up just put it on a q-tip and dab at the eye-liner
for greaseing, i used it for my hamster’s wheel so it wouldn’t squeek

I use it on my lips every nite before bed and every day after I shower. It’s a great primer for lipstick.
It’s also great under your eyes if you have very dry skin. It was a lifesaver for me when I lived in NYC and got bad dry skin under my eyes every winter. I also put it on the tops of my hands where I would get cracked skin in cold weather. Then put a layer of Vaseline Intensive Care lotion on top. Very soft results.
