What minor of civil engineering does relate to petroleum and petrol industry in master degree ?

Im a civil engineer and wan to continue my education in master’s in canada . im seeking for a related minor to petroleum and petrol industry !

    also a minor in Organic chem wouldn’t hurt, but thats a stretch give most engineers hatred of chemistry.

    You can do a petroleum engineering minor, but there are limit schools. look in Alberta, they do Tarsands and the School in Calgary has some programs that would be of interest.

    Studying in the US Id say go to Univ. of Pittsburg.. (yeah I know) But the PETC is there Pittsburg Energy Techology Center is there. they may be of interest.

    look in FUEL magazine or some of the PetroChem Journals for references to jobs, education

    Look iN the Chronical of Higher Education for program.s

    A minor in unemployment. Please inform yourself about "peak oil" before you waste your education on an industry that is dying. Why not go for renewable energy instead? Now there is something that will keep a man employed for the next 50 years…
