What synonym would you suggest for "Opportunity crude oil"?
I’m particularly interested in the term "opportunity". I found some info about opportunity crude oil, I know what it means but I have to translate it into French or any other language and it seems impossible to do it…I thought maybe a synonym would help…Thanks!

Based on the definition I found on the website below, I would suggest it might also be called "off spec", " below standard" or "non-benchmark quality" crude.
The heavy crude oil found in California would meet this definition.
