Why has the price of a barrel of oil gone up 300% since Obama has gotten into office? He bashed Bush for this?
Amazing how he based Bush for the price of oil and then Bush seemed to leave office when oil was at just above per barrel. Now Oil is at dollars per barrel. When is Obama going to help get the price of oil back down to around per barrel as Bush did?

The price of oil went down when bush had filled up the american reserve with free oil from Iraq which put demand down and the price dropped like a rock. Obama will be old and grey before he figures it out. You do not spend billions and get nothing.

Probably on the 39th of never, since he doesn’t control the price of a barrel of oil.
The price of oil under Bush wasn’t his fault either. He wasn’t secretly scurrying around DC meeting with Saudi officials and oil men cackling over how high they were going to raise the price of oil.
Speculators were the problem, and are still part of the problem, along with all new unrest and pipeline interruptions in the Middle East, that people in this country would know about if they ever watched a media source outside the corporate owned US media, then there is China consuming even greater amounts of oil as they continue to grow. for now anyway.

he and his supporters confused mamba and kool aid for gas

When gas went to $4.00 a gallon, Obama commented it just went up too fast. It’s like his comment about cap and trade….that our utility bills would necessarily skyrocket.
Sounds like he wants us to fail.

You have to understand: The Democrats believe Obama has NO CONTROL over oil prices but that Bush had ALL THE CONTROL over oil prices.

You seem to forget that, under Bush, it was four dollars a gallon. Currently, it’s at $2.65 a gallon. In what way is that a 300% increase?

Obama is counting on our entire 57 states to do it for him…Walk people….

Liberals are such hypocrites….they criticize Bush for high gas prices, but are silent when gas prices go up under Obama.

Effing A–I paid 3.50 a gallon yesterday in Marin. I am going to be like a liberal and blame the President. Thanks allot, Obama!

Gas was insanely expensive under Bush. It is nowhere near those heights now, so there is no valid complaint, as far as I am concerned. What I will say is that oil is a strategic resource and should be more closely regulated by the US govt., even if it means nationalizing the oil companies and controlling prices.

Everyone knows Bush was an oil man with a vested interest in rising oil prices.

This price increase is due in large measure to the fact that the Federal Reserve has been printing money non-stop since about October of 2008*. This unprecedented inflating of the money supply will be felt first in areas of foreign exchange and in overseas purchases of commodities like oil. The price increase is the result of monetary inflation by the government, so you might as well ask when the government will stop the excessive printing of money, because therein lies the answer to your question, which in all likelihood is probably "never" or until the government collapses under the huge debt, whichever comes first.

BHO likes high energy prices makes his stupid can’t pay for it self green energy look better. We should be using every thing we have instead of relying on technology that does not exist.

Never. The price is up because of the same speculators that drove it up during the election year.
You have to understand, the revolutionary playbook requires the people be miserable. There are 2 separate things happening at the same time to make that happen. Health care and rising fuel prices. If fuel prices go up faster than wages, people are restricted to just go to work and back. Vacations become "stay-cations", and the peoples freedom is hindered without unconstitutional legislation.
Next, take away the people’s freedom of good health care, and force a really crappy, bureaucratic laden "health reform" bill on to the citizenry, and the misery index goes through the roof.
If you add in the credit crunch, people are getting ready to eat the rich.
Also, if you follow the money, after the election it was revealed that most of congress are part of the "speculators" that drive up prices. Basically, once again, our politicians get rich off our misery.

libs/environmentalist like gas prices high so people have to drive less.
does any one else think its funny that the word "mental" makes up half the word "environmentalist"
