Why is the price of oil and gas going up when so many people are out of work and demand is down?
I keep watching the price of oil and it’s going up, even though the demand for gas is going down. People are not driving as much and they added ethanol to cut down our dependence on foreign oil. What is going on?

I think if you watched the trend you will know it is not all in the price of oil. the dealers supplying the stations are the ones running the price up and then coming half way down, which keeps gas prices going up. the oil companies and dist. think we are stupid.

Now you see the corruption of the system

Asking the question is answering it.
People are out of work and demand is down so oil companies’ income is down.
By hiking the price of gas, they maintain their income.

If we built more refineries and drilled for our OWN gas, in our OWN country, the prices would go down.
But………….

The libs have outlawed drilling for oil here, forcing us to buy it from countries that hate us. So you might want to thank the idiots who voted the lib puke into office.
